This study was carried out by the visible light telescope Tomo-e Gozen/1.05m Kiso Schmidt (Kiso Observatory, the University of Tokyo) and the X-ray telescope NICER on the International Space Station and studied the high-temperature gas surrounding the core white dwarf.
